ParkAgent Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 19, 2026

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be requested for purchases made through the ParkAgent platform. It is intended to provide a fair and consistent process while allowing participating properties to administer parking programs efficiently and with minimal manual review.

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through ParkAgent and forms part of the ParkAgent Terms of Use.

2. General Policy

Except as expressly provided in this Refund Policy or as otherwise required by applicable law, all parking purchases are final. Refund eligibility depends primarily on whether the scheduled parking session has begun.

3. Refunds Before a Parking Session Begins

A purchaser may cancel a parking session and receive a full refund if the cancellation request is submitted before the scheduled start time of the purchased parking session.

Refunds approved under this section will be issued to the original payment method whenever reasonably practicable. Applicable payment-processing fees may be nonrefundable where permitted by law and disclosed at the time of purchase.

4. Parking Sessions That Have Started

Once the scheduled parking session has begun, the parking purchase is considered consumed and is generally not eligible for a refund.

A customer seeking an exception after the scheduled start time must submit a refund request through the designated ParkAgent support process.

Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. ParkAgent may deny a request without further investigation where the request does not present a potentially qualifying circumstance.

5. Refund Review Requests

Refund requests submitted after the parking session has started may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Potentially qualifying circumstances may include:

  • a verified duplicate charge for the same parking session;
  • a verified payment-processing error;
  • a verified ParkAgent system error that prevented the purchased parking authorization from being used;
  • an incorrect charge caused by a confirmed administrative or configuration error; or
  • a refund required by applicable law.

ParkAgent may require documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the request. ParkAgent is not obligated to conduct an extensive investigation where available system records do not support the request.

6. Circumstances Generally Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds generally will not be issued for any of the following:

  • failure to use a purchased parking session;
  • early departure or shortened stay;
  • weather conditions, travel delays, or changes in travel plans;
  • selection of the wrong dates, times, property, vehicle, or parking product by the purchaser;
  • incorrect or incomplete vehicle information entered by the purchaser or another user;
  • failure to comply with applicable property rules or parking instructions;
  • citations, warnings, booting, towing, immobilization, or other enforcement actions;
  • inability to locate a parking space where a specific space or parking availability was not expressly guaranteed;
  • dissatisfaction with parking location, proximity, convenience, or condition;
  • failure to cancel before the scheduled start of the parking session;
  • inability to access a mobile device, email account, text message, QR code, or registration link;
  • cellular, internet, device, browser, or third-party service issues not caused by ParkAgent; or
  • fees charged by a property, enforcement provider, towing company, financial institution, or other third party.

7. Duplicate Charges

A customer who believes the same parking session was charged more than once should promptly submit a refund request with the available transaction details. Verified duplicate charges will generally be refunded to the original payment method.

8. Property-Specific Rules

A participating property may establish additional cancellation or refund rules, provided those rules are disclosed before purchase and do not conflict with applicable law. Where a property-specific rule is more restrictive than this Refund Policy, the property-specific rule will apply only if it was clearly disclosed before the transaction was completed.

9. Fraud Prevention and Abuse

ParkAgent may deny, delay, or reverse a refund where fraud, refund abuse, chargeback misuse, misrepresentation, manipulation of the platform, or other improper activity is reasonably suspected.

Repeated or abusive refund requests may result in account restrictions, suspension, or other action permitted under the ParkAgent Terms of Use.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact ParkAgent before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank, card issuer, or other financial institution. A chargeback does not automatically establish that a refund is owed.

Improper, fraudulent, or duplicative chargebacks may result in suspension of access to ParkAgent, recovery of amounts owed, or other action permitted by law and the ParkAgent Terms of Use.

11. Refund Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. If the original payment method is unavailable, ParkAgent may use another lawful method at its discretion. As the merchant of record for parking Transactions, VRPS processes approved refunds to the purchaser.

ParkAgent will generally submit an approved refund to the applicable payment processor within a reasonable period after approval. The time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account is controlled by the payment processor, card network, bank, or other financial institution.

12. Fees, Taxes, and Partial Refunds

Where permitted by law, transaction fees, payment-processing fees, service fees, technology fees, and other nonrefundable charges may be excluded from the refunded amount if those charges were disclosed before purchase.

If only part of a transaction is eligible for refund, ParkAgent may issue a partial refund. Taxes will be refunded or adjusted as required by applicable law and the capabilities of the payment processor.

13. Requests Submitted by Someone Other Than the Purchaser

ParkAgent may require confirmation from the original purchaser or other reasonable evidence of authority before processing a refund request submitted by another person.

14. No Admission of Liability

Issuing a refund does not constitute an admission of fault, liability, system failure, or legal obligation by Vacation Rental Property Solutions, Inc., ParkAgent, a participating property, or any third party.

15. Changes to This Refund Policy

ParkAgent may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by applicable law. The current version will be identified by its effective date.

16. How to Submit a Refund Request

Refund requests must be submitted through the ParkAgent support portal or another support channel designated by ParkAgent. The request should include the purchaser's name, transaction or receipt number, property, scheduled parking dates and times, and a concise explanation of the requested refund.
